Introduction

The Gen Energy 290Wh V-Mount Li-ion Battery is a robust and shockproof professional Cine battery pack. It features two D-Tap and one USB interfaces. The internal temperature is lowered with no wires inside. The GEN Energy V-Mount Battery (14.4v, 290w) is a professional Cine battery, featuring polycarbonate shock-proof material and is one of the longest lasting batteries on the market. GEN Energy batteries passed the US military drop-test which includes being dropped 10 times over a height of 2 meters. It is designed shockproof by combining unique shock-proof components such as cell holders and male-female shaped joint parts. The no wire design makes it strong enough to prevent breakage on impact, specifically protecting D-taps and USB ports. The capacity is extended by using silicone-type high capacity anode materials (Si-O). The vertical cell alignment makes its size as compact as possible so it doesn’t extend above the back of the camera. The five LED gauges are monitored internally using a 10-step process, each LED indicates when 20% battery life is remaining and a blinking LED represents 10%. The battery cell is balanced by accurate, real-time programming, and the battery life remaining capacity is measured by an extremely sensitive resistor.
